Grafička škola u Zagrebu (Graphics School in Zagreb) is a public high school in Zagreb. School has about 550 students and 70 employees of which 54 are teachers. == History == The earliest records on this type of education in Zagreb date back to 1886 when two printers completed their apprenticeship. Eight years later in 1894 a group of 19 book printers finished their education. Back in that time school didn't have its own building yet. By decision of Teachers' Council this year is considered as a year of establishment of the school. By the year 1945 more than 1500 students finished school. First school building was located in Gundulićeva 10. Soon the school got a part of a building where Museum of Arts and Crafts is located today. Main Directorate of the Graphics Industry donated printing machinery, devices and furniture to the school. School moved to the current location Getaldićeva 2 in 1951. The school was searching for all of the old records in 14 locations for 3 years. Today's archive has informations about almost every student from 1886 to today. The search was needed because the school at its beginning wasn't really an organized type of education.
